World book day at Suttons

This year for World Book day we had a themed Roald Dahl Day. Children were mixed into groups and set off around the school on a carousel of fabulous activities Roald Dahl related.

Downstairs in reception and KS1 children made their very own golden tickets, made an enormous crocodile and prepared their very own peach crumble.

Upstairs in KS2 children created chocolate bars, designed revolting recipes and made Roald Dahl worry boats.

Here are some pictures of our day!

Reception and KS1 made it into Willy Wonka's chocolate factory with their very own golden tickets!

In KS2 we had some beautiful worry boats, some disgusting recipes and delicious chocolate bars!

We had some brilliant Roald Dahl costumes!

And some other super costumes too!

What a brilliant World Book day we have had!
